100 hours 7-day intensive Pre-conception, Pregnancy and post-natal Yoga Teacher Training course. This course is open to already qualified 200hour teacher or midwives or other related health professionals.

Pregnancy Yoga Teacher Training course proposed schedule: 100hrs Yoga Alliance professionals certified.
Day 1 (Monday)
Topic: Pre-conception
11:30am arrival and introductionsÂ
12 pm hatha yoga for healthy pre-conception (aruna surya namaskar and loma viloma series to balance body and mind) kaya kriya and relaxation (loma-viloma visualization).
1:30pm: Lunch break
2:30pm - session with Jnandev on yogic cleansing, preparation for conception
3:30 – 4:30 – sectional breathing and Pranava Om
5pm relaxation practices: kaya kriya relaxation, pranayama (savitri rhythm) and yoga nidra (jnana yoga kriya) Moksha kriya
6:30pm close for the day
Day 2 (Tuesday)
Topic: Early Pregnancy (13 weeks – 28wks)
9:00am Hatha Yoga sequence for early pregnancy, sukkah rhythm
11am Anatomy and physiology/stages in Pregnancy and general concerns, questions and answers session - presentation with midwife Lorien
1pm lunch break
2pm: talk on vedic philosophy and pregnancy with JnandevÂ
3pm: Kati chakra kriya sequence and Pranayama - Pranava AUM with mudras and sounds
4:30pm GP Dr Catherine guest speaker on women’s healthÂ
6:30 – 7:30 ‘live’ Pregnancy Yoga class/observation (if students are available)
Day 3 Â (Weds)
Topic Late Pregnancy (28wks – 40wks/term)
9:15am Hatha Yoga for later pregnancy, marmanastanam kriya (public class)
11:15am Presentation with Rachel Crow, womb meditations and cycle chartingÂ
1pm lunch break
2pm - Pranayamas: Â savitri rythym, Brahma mudra, kukkriya and the birthing breath (students practice leading the birthing breath)
4pm reviewing practices students want to re-cap/ students’ practice
5pm close
Day 4 (Thurs)
9:30 am Hatha Yoga early pregnancy reviewed
10:30 – 11:30am ‘live’ postnatal mother and baby Yoga class (if students available)
12pm relaxation techniques / pranayamas
1pm lunch break
2pm: Presentation with retiree midwife and Breastfeeding counselor LinÂ
3pm: yoga therapy and partner yoga- a helpful hand during pregnancy
4pm: Health and safety and teaching skills.
5pm Chair yoga
6pm close
(note 6:30-8pm public general class welcome to join)
Day 5 (Friday)
9:00am hatha yoga for late pregnancy reviewed
10:30am Pranayama, Brahmari/Bramahra
11am Hypnobirthing presentation with Heather
1pm lunch break
2pm: practice teaching and lesson planningÂ
4:30pm: talk on yoga practices and our emotional health for mother and baby with Jnandev
6pm close
(note 7-8pm bhajan singing/kirtan public class welcome to join)
Day-6 (Saturday)
Topic: Post Natal YogaÂ
9am: post natal yoga session
10am: students teaching classesÂ
11am Presentation with physiotherapist Caroline
1pm lunch break
2pm: Pranayama, Surya and Chandra nadi, Alternate nostil breathing
3pm –post-natal sequence reviewed
4pm – Pregnancy Yoga Teacher’s responsibilities, expectations, skills and abilities, knowledge base, questions and answers session with Deepika and Jnandev
5pm close
Students certified after completing and submitting:
- 1 Â Â Â Â Â x detailed case studyÂ
- 3 Â Â Â Â Â x Pregnancy lesson plans with written feedback from students
- 1 Â Â Â Â Â x post-natal yoga lesson plan
- Essay      on the benefits of Yoga during pregnancy?Â
- Describe      practices that work on the pelvic floor in yoga and why is it important?
- In      what situations should you not allow the pregnant student to participate      in the yoga class and what might you need to do?
