Why train with us?

There is a lot of other courses out there but what makes us worth it for you? Here are some answers to questions often asked:

There are cheaper courses out there!

Yes you will get what you pay for, the question is how much are you willing to invest in your training, own self development and depth and quality of your teacher training?

We have one of the most comprehensive (if not the most comprehensive) authentic teacher training courses available in the UK. It is written and compiled soley by us your lead teachers. We have a lot of teacher training experience which has lead us to improve our courses year after year. This year (2021) we have ran over 30 YTT courses and helped change the lives of many for the better which you can read from student reviews on facebook and google.

What is so special about these teachers?

The course will be lead by Yogachariya Jnandev Giri and Yogacharini Deepika Giri who are senior teachers of the Gitananda Yoga Tradition. Please note worldwide there are only around 30 senior teachers of this tradition. The Gitananda lineage is one of the few authentic Indian yoga traditions which remains an intact living tradition.

Jnandev, from India is also trained to Msc level in Yoga and meditation through the Jain tradition and also lived for some time with Nath Saddhus in India. Jnandev is able to read and write Sanskrit. All these qualities are a rare find in the western part of the world!

Deepika and Jnandev founded the Yoga Satsanga Ashram in West Wales in 2009 where they have since been running yoga classes for the local community, yoga courses for children’s yoga, pregnancy yoga, teacher training, 200hours, 300hours and 500 hours advanced levels. More recently they have embarked on running a 200hrs yoga therapy CPD with Dr Ananda Bhavanani (who is the son of Swami Gitananda).

In short both Deepika and Jnandev are very experienced yoga trainers and both started their own yoga practice in their teenage years.

Whats so great about this course compared to others?

Yes we have been accredited by the Yoga Alliance Professionals since 2010, they will be able to provide you with insurance and membership to teach yoga.

There are many courses that offer some kind of accreditation but you will find that many organizations will only accept a 200 hour yoga teacher qualification to employ you.

Is follow up support available?

After the completion of the course we will give you a 3 month free membership to our own on line classes to practice and continue your learning. We will also hold several trained teacher catch up/check in sessions which you can join if you have questions or need any help. You will have access to many of our you tube (private link) videos to help you revisit and refresh your knowledge on different aspects of the course.
