About The Event
This is an immersive residential experience into Ashram Yogic lifestyle and Pranayama training aimed at Yoga Teachers or well established Yoga practitioners.
If you want to expand your lung capcity and learn from the most in depth Pranayama Yoga tradition this is the course for you!
Lead by Yogacharini Deepika Giri one of the senior mentors of the Gitananda Yoga Praramparai. Deepika is very passionate about Pranayama having grown up with acute asthma many times hospitalised and on life support for 3 days due to asthma attacks in her childhood. Deepika has experienced the immense healing power of Pranayama and want to share this for the health and well-being of society as a whole but also to inform and guide teachers to be able to teache thier own studetns how to breathe properly and introduce many other Pranayama techniques that are utterly life changing!

6am Hatha yoga
9am Karma Yoga (1hr)
11am Pranayama and Yoga nidra
4pm Yoga Chikitsa or Pranayama theory
8:30pm close practice mauna (silence)
An immersion onto the Pranayama Sadhana of the Gitananda Yoga Tradition.
Certification from YAP, IYA & ICYER
Some of the weekly public classes we will amalgamate with the course if we feel it’s helpful or relevant.
We will try to schedule in one day when the weather is good to practice on some of the local beautiful beaches and take a picnic!
