Pranayama Yoga Sadhana in Portugal
Time & Location
About The Event
An intensive training and Sadhana for yoga practitioners or yoga teachers to deepen the experience of Pranayama.
Our main source of Prana is the breath, the breath is sacred and in this modern day living we have all become poor and shallow breathers. This course will follow specific practices form the Gitananda Tradition to expand our lung capacity and work on many levels of pranic cleansing practices to refine our prana and increase our pranic levels.
We will live in a simple Ashram style eco off grid centre, the food we eat will also support these practices.
The Gitanada Tradition is the richest lineage in Pranayama with 120 Pranayamas in total. During this retreat we will work with some of these pranayamas, nada yoga, yoga nidra and mantra. All of the practices will be aimed at increasing our pranic energy levels.
Taught by Yogacharini Deepika, Senior Gitananda Yoga Teacher and Yoge Teacher Trainer (registered with YAP trainer Pro, BWY, IYN, IYA)
With our special guest teacher covering several of the pranayama classes:
